Maybe they will. It is hard to spend money on frivolus things when things are so bad so close to home. I know I decided that my 8 year old TV is just fine and going to have to last awhile longer this holiday.

We were already cutting back on eating out, as we were trying to lose weight, AND when we analyzed our budget and realized that one decent meal out buys a whole weeks groceries for us. All my life, I've only ever bought clothes on a 'need to' basis. We don't have any credit cards either.
