It is sad that one cannot be a citizen of nowhere, that one cannot simply be human and travel the world as such. It is sad and ultimately ironic in some greater cosmic sense that, based upon the place in which we were born, we are somehow different as humans than others, and that our goings and comings should be restricted and watched.
