VC Larry Cheng on What Makes a Great Entrepreneur - Anthony Tjan - HarvardBusiness.org - http://blogs.harvardbusiness.org/tjan...
Probably the biggest priority is to create priorities, and the problem with a lot of founders and CEOs is there's a ton of ideas. Especially at a young stage, you want to do so many things. And I find that I have to preach the sermon of priority a lot, because it can kill a young company if you try and pursue too many ideas. - Tiffany Monhollon

Media after the site « BuzzMachine - http://www.buzzmachine.com/2009...
This view of the future makes it all the more silly and retrograde for publishers like Murdoch to complain about the value of the readers Google sends to them. Who says readers will or should come to us at all? We were warned of this future by that now-legendary college student who said in Brian Stelter’s New York Times story (which foretold the end of the medium in which it appeared): “If the news is that important, it will find me.” - Tiffany Monhollon

Give Your Readers Room to Participate in Your Blog - http://www.problogger.net/archive...
are a great way to get reader interaction because they allow readers to respond and participate – without having to really put themselves out there in a public way. I find that the polls here on ProBlogger are responded to by a larger number of people than those who comment and I suspect this is because many readers do want to have a say – but like their anonymity. - Tiffany Monhollon

The Low Budget Movie Marketing of 'Paranormal Activity' - Advertising Age - Madison+Vine: News - http://adage.com/madison...
When there are low financial barriers, have fun. "Paranormal Activity" cost a mere $15,000 to produce, with little spent thus far on traditional media, so Paramount stands to recoup any overhead costs thousands of times over if the film catches on with a national audience. But despite the initial success, "If it all ended today we'd be very happy," said Paul Greenstein, the studio's co-president, marketing. - Tiffany Monhollon

Best Buy Asks The Wrong Question On Facebook - http://www.socialmediatoday.com/SMC...
This is a perfect example of why social media/community managers need to be at the table with stakeholders within the company--execs in marketing, communications, operations, etc. Not that it would have prevented the situation--which, by the way, as far as "situations" go--is an enviable one--we should all be so lucky as to get hundreds of responses to any question. But I'm telling you--it's hard to come up with audience-appropriate, engaging comments on a daily basis in a vacuum. - Tiffany Monhollon
