Hey Loic. Got into a thread by accident yesterday. A young guy was having trouble preparing a term paper. Seemed to me that the collective wisdom on Seesmic could contribute to 'open education' in so many areas: reading, writing, philosophy, politics, poetry, music ... . I'm thinking get-togethers to help people who want to learn. What do you think? - Kate Foy
Kate I think education & Seesmic has a huge potential. Groups is #1 priority for us after site redesign - Loic Le Meur
OK. Let's talk further about this! Salut! - Kate Foy
Loic, in addition to my previous suggestions concerning this matter, I would also like to tell you that, among other, I am volunteering for TakingITGlobal, the biggest online youth portal, which has an extensive educational arm with virtual classrooms and virtual courses. There might be some possibility of mutually rewarding collaboration. - Hayk Hakobyan
Hayk this is great! thanks for your help offer, we'd love to partner with TakingITGlobal and I had met the founder in Davos a few years ago, she is very cool - Loic Le Meur
Loic, I am glad you met Jennifer!! She is very cool! I will get in touch with her with this matter and will let you know! - Hayk Hakobyan
Kate, in September I am scheduled to start a video blogging class for a college... most of the class will be online. - Tiil
thanks Hayk say hi to Jennifer for me - Loic Le Meur
Tiil, we will have groups ready for you - Loic Le Meur
It's video! We should do lots of visual things, even without dialog. It can be like film: show & don't tell. The visual aspect of the platform has barely been explored. Here's my attempt in this Seesmic thread: http://seesmic.com/v/Xre0F082F... - Dean Terry
