@heuge the fries at Brasserie Georges in Uccle near Brussels are fried with horse or duck oil. Insanely good.
@Loic In France "les Frites" sold in Fairs ( Fetes Forraines) used to be fried in horse oil...(it was cheaper.) I myself used to do my own horse oil from grease bought at the butcher (boucherie chevaline) that I after mixed with etching ink to produce a special effect on etching prints...

Hey Loic. Got into a thread by accident yesterday. A young guy was having trouble preparing a term paper. Seemed to me that the collective wisdom on Seesmic could contribute to 'open education' in so many areas: reading, writing, philosophy, politics, poetry, music ... . I'm thinking get-togethers to help people who want to learn. What do you think?
