"You've done your part for sure. The three words you chose have played out in 2011.  Your traveling and speaking blow me away.  Boundless energy and excitement shines through. Okay, enough flattery.  Here's to a year ahead of fun, excitement, growth, and more. Cheers, Todd @tojosan" - Todd Jordan

"We've got a couple of these broken traditions. Oldest son and his wife, they always give our younger son one of those manly body wash/shampoo sets. He's picky about that stuff. We're collecting a stash of these. Ha." - Todd Jordan

Re: Social Media Bullying by So-Called Professional Photographers - http://socialposer.com/social-...
"This to me is obviously parody. I'm clueless at to the target though. Likely she is a pro photographer making a goof on those looking to get into the field. IMHO being a professional photographer isn't just about the best camera/tools, or being the most skilled. Being a professional includes working with clients, delivering what's promised, and setting clear expectations. I've met 'pro' photographers than can barely get any of those areas right. This video does nothing to move folks forward, or encourage those gone pro to share what they've learned. Maybe everyone can avoiding feeding the troll and she'll go away." - Todd Jordan

Re: No More Public Call Outs - http://geofflivingston.com/2011...
"Great post Geoff. A great reminder to live and let live.  Drama is the key word in it all. Some folks live for it, others can't let anything slide without it. This goes in cycles for each of us, but let us say for today, we are on the side of less drama. Focus on positive forward actions." - Todd Jordan

"On offensive or not, folks need to get a clue.  Clean shaven has long been equated with civilized. As regards dreads etc, that's a matter of personal taste. I think unruly hair is unruly hair and that's easy enough to see regardless of a longer hair style, more trimmed one or a fro. Further, what the hell people? Can't believe folks have time to worry over an ad." - Todd Jordan

Re: The Practice Is the Reward - http://www.chrisbrogan.com/practic...
"I've been working on my sketching and drawing skills. Those are unsurprisingly the ones I complain about the least while practicing. However, I feel frustration. I'm not 'there.' The end. The state of being a supreme artist. Along the way, practicing, I'm producing art though, and it is getting better. The fear of putting the pen down gets less. The fear of criticism as well. The lines are tighter, smoother, and faces look like faces. It is rewarding." - Todd Jordan

This review is from: Sister Sparrow And The Dirty Birds (MP3 Download) I've enjoyed this purchase. Sister Sparrow opened my listening experiences up with this fun and moving Jazz album. Todd R. Jordan reviewed: Graceful by Seth Godin Godin works to get us to move, September 15, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Graceful (Kindle Edition) This is the modern Godin vs the marketing guru Godin. Here he aims to do more than inspire but get us to move. Now. The book is composed of chapters. They build throughout and reach a pinnacle. Each chapter is its own thoughtful piece and could be read stand alone. Unless you're ready to be moved, read the book slowly and savor it. - Todd Jordan

Re: The Great Twitter Unfollow Experiment of 2011 - http://www.chrisbrogan.com/unfollo...
"Cheers Chris! Wondering the same thing as more than a few times folks have asked me how I follow even the handful I have. I've always begged off on the gestalt theory. I don't watch everyone; I watch the stream go by. For everything else, I created subsets to watch. You were in one of those subsets and yet I still missed a good bit of your tweets, and others. Moving on that is huge. it does mean rebuilding those connections. And yes, people will feel hurt. For many it is validation, for others they are actual friends or people I've gotten attached too, for example you, Liz Strauss. Maybe this could be a week long movement. Encourage us all to step back, clear out who we follow, and rebuild. Sending you all my best, Todd" - Todd Jordan

"Looking forward to SxSW and even more so to raising the roof with this panel. So many folks join social networks and not only feel lost but honestly invisible. They year to be noticed but the big name players don't need more folks to follow. What can we do to help? What's your big question on getting started online and moving from invisible to active and engaged." - Todd Jordan

Re: It’s Not Who You Circle; It’s Who Circles You - http://www.chrisbrogan.com/whocirc...
"Of course my counter argument is that it's all about who you circle. Like you, I'm trying to follow folks based on what they share, and less about any hope or interest of being Circled back.  I don't mind it for sure, but not my goal. I've created sharing circles based on topics I might share w/like minded folks about. Likewise, I'm using a #Listening Circle to put folks in that I find the most useful/interesting. Some friends don't make it here, some folks I don't know in person are here though. Taking a fresh approach though here vs Twitter.   All said, good post." - Todd Jordan
