@zssz Yeah, 40 icons on a Mac dock must be *doing it wrong*. I also have lots of apps open & use cmd-tab to switch between. Quicksilver huh?

@zssz It used to make sense with a wide screen to have the dock vertical but now with dock hiding ON, horizontal makes my 40 icons legible.

Since switch to MacBook Air from 15" MBP, turned dock hiding on, moved dock from left to bottom. Every inch counts now. But lightness rules.

Writing note in Evernote desktop app on Mac. But @Evernote is generating thumbnail images. typing is impeded. Cancelled doesn't help. :-(

@kdoronzio Double-checking. You're saying trash or replace the Addressbook.plist file in ~/Library/Preferences along with db in App Support?

Mac: Tried for hours to get a 100-person addressbook from Tiger to overwrite an addressbook on Leopard Mac. Worked but would NOT stick! :-(

1 Reason I use Instapaper Pro is it converts a URL to text that is better than Twitter client browser & Instapaper lets you turn sideways.
