Heard something very disturbing from my friend last night: Some seeds are engineered to produce only once forcing us to buy a new batch of seeds every time we want to grow the corresponding vegetable/fruit.
To me this is a fucking outrage. Another way The Man sucks our lifeblood, enslaves us, and forces us to work for fuckin' ever. God gave us seeds so that we can be self-sufficient. The Man doesn't want that.

My ZenV battey life is now too short to last the day. My old Iriver iFP-795 (uses normal batteries) would be the perfect MP3 player if only it had bookmarking function. Because it uses normal batteries you can take it on a weeklong camping trip. Can't do that with any other MP3 player on the market today.

I'm from Johnstown, PA. One of my dreams was to return home with billions of dollars, flood the town to cover the rotting steel mills and create casinos and resorts around the man-made lake. There'd be boating and swimming in the summer (imagine diving to get a look at the old submerged steel mills) and skiing in the winter, with Las Vegas-style entertainment year-round.

In Friendfeed beta what's the difference between viewing 'Home' and a setting up a search of 'My friends and groups'?
Diff is that FF "home" is a list & you can choose to add ppl to it. Search of your friends would give all.

Only your tweets, not those of everyone. And, if you do it the other way, post on FF and have FF repost to Twitter, FF's smart enough to not get into an infinite loop (apparently).

"job" will not interfere. The reason I felt like this was not so much because the real work of the "job" was distasteful, but because of all the side shit that comes with every job, namely other people; the assholes and egos that have to be dealt with.
