@davefleet Numerous people have told me they stay with Blogger b/c it improves search ranks. True or not, I'd rather sacrifice readers!
Here's hoping the Zhu Zhu pets case gets the "Crisis 101" bloggers writing about something other than the golf dude :-) http://features.csmonitor.com/economy...
@rjdavila Thanks, man. I used my 3000th tweet to pimp that post! Great to see you last week.
No time to blog this week, but last week's post has a naked girl, a cute dog and a great joke. It's all PETA's fault. http://toughsledding.wordpress.com/2009...
@chuckhemann Would never say SM is a total time sink. Only about half of it. Still trying to determine which half :-)
@csledzik @MelissaPR @chuckhemann Agreed. But let's not read too much into the study.
@jgombita Thinking Tiger is positioned to become the playboy of pro golf. He'll make a billion more! :-) Not sure how Elin will take this.
@MelissaPR No disagreement. But we all know that only a certain percentage of at-work SM time is productive. Like now. Alumni relations :-)
@MelissaPR @csledzik @chuckhemann OK, but you'll find even more studies suggesting multitasking is counterproductive. Pick your poison.
@blairboone Puffery! Fluffery! Whatever. It's all undocumented, but if you pay for the space, you're allowed to say it.
@MelissaPR I'm not surprised by that stat. While SM has value, it's sucks up a lot of time. Communicators need it. Accountants? No so sure.
@chuckhemann @MelissaPR @csledzik That report refers to "extent" of one's networks (F2F and digital), not SM multi-tasking on the job.
Worried that my pal Jack O'Dwyer has lost it over this Tiger Woods PR thing. We ain't talking Bernie Madoff here! http://www.odwyerpr.com/blog...
@csledzik @blairboone I believe the person with authority to designate a "leading company in..." is called the Minister of Fluff.
@BenBrugler Say what you will about Dagwood's hair. Blondie Bumstead is one of the hottest women in the comic pages.
Reading @markwschaefer 's predictions for the future of marketing/PR and thinking, "Wish I'd written that." http://businessesgrow.com/2009...
It occurs to me that I'm 10-12 years past due for a mid-life crisis. Suggestions? No sports cars or misstresses. Can't afford either.
@wordjones Great suggestions, but two things that scare me to death are scuba diving and motorcycles. Both require total focus.
@davefleet To quote an old like from Hank Williams, Jr.: Hangovers hurt more than they used to. No weeknight partying for me.
@BethHarte Think of it as one of those echo-chamber moments. We all have them :-)
Catching up on everything after 3 days offline. Would anyone care if I just deleted all the email? If it's important, they'll call, right?
Talk about a no-win situation. Sue an American institution, then refuse comment. Good thing everyone loves banks. Ugh! http://www.ohio.com/news...
Great discussion @markwschaefer 's blog on keeping blogs non-commercial -- or not. http://businessesgrow.com/2009...
@KarenRussell @Fiskey I am not an annoyed professor. I am annoying -- or so I've been told :-)
@Fiskey @annoyedPRprof is caricature of a person who shouldn't be in higher ed. Decent (and familiar) satire of a pathetic academic.
@csledzik Statement is heart felt, and not all that well written. Feels authentic, even if it's not. #Tiger
@focuscom Tiger's statement? A bit late, but on target. Esp: "Personal sins should not require press releases." Amen! http://web.tigerwoods.com/news...
@csledzik Pandora Bowie style should also bring you Mott's "All the Young Dudes." One of my all time favorite rock-n-roll tunes.
@csledzik It's a reference to this Band. Their best known song: http://popup.lala.com/popup...
@rjdavila J. M. Stewart Hardware was across from the train station. Jimmy's dad was first one to greet my uncle when he returned from WWII.
