I know there's a lot of history in Istanbul (I've been there and seen it and read quite a bit about it), but you aren't offering anything in this post IMO. I think this post is well suited to the travel groups, photo groups and so on, but I don't think a collection of contemporary photos with no background info. is a post for the history group. This is just my opinion, others may disagree. Peace.
