Everyone has a right to change their mind/opinion when new information is brought to their attention. It is preferred that people keep an open mind to things. Nothing is exactly black and white, therefore no one person can be totally for any one thing. There will always be a small bit of doubt or second guess in everything. - Christopher Welle

@Trevor: It depends when she's claiming she told them that. Anyhow, technically, the expression "Thanks, but no thanks" implies a change of mind. "Thanks".....and then "No Thanks". - Sean McGee
