"I'm willing to bet they won't do anything about Adblock being able to run in their browser. They realize that if they try to disallow it, the open source community will just make a version that allows it." - Trevor Manternach
"Not to start any rumors, but I find it VERY curious that he says he knew and still picked her. The debate that is going to circle around this is so potentially bad that it doesn't make any sense to still pick her. It was a massive risk to begin with, but this just took it to a whole new level." - Trevor Manternach
"Gov. Sarah Palin was for the infamous "Bridge to Nowhere" before she was against it, a change of position the GOP vice presidential running mate ignored Saturday when she bragged about telling Congress "thanks but no thanks" to the pork barrel project." - newsjunk.com
It amuses me how people think politicians shouldn't change their minds...Wouldn't it be nice if Bush had changed his mind on Iraq...even after the fact? Someone re-evaluating their thinking is a good thing. - Sean McGee
Everyone has a right to change their mind/opinion when new information is brought to their attention. It is preferred that people keep an open mind to things. Nothing is exactly black and white, therefore no one person can be totally for any one thing. There will always be a small bit of doubt or second guess in everything. - Christopher Welle
@Sean McGee: Nothing is wrong with changing your mind. But she claims that she told them "thanks but no thanks" when in fact she was for the bridge. It's hypocrisy. - Trevor Manternach
@Trevor: It depends when she's claiming she told them that. Anyhow, technically, the expression "Thanks, but no thanks" implies a change of mind. "Thanks".....and then "No Thanks". - Sean McGee

"Just because his successor was a downright disaster doesn't make him more respectable. I'm not saying that I don't respect him, but your reasoning seems odd. Also, I think that his personal attacks during this year's primary season should be considered. He may have been a very good President, but that doesn't mean he gets to go race baiting to try to get his wife nominated and get a free ride for it. Also, thanks for the down votes. That is definitely what the arrows are for." - Trevor Manternach
"If he had your respect, you must have been in a coma during his wife's presidential race. Bill Clinton is the reason that Barack Obama is the nominee." - Trevor Manternach
Not sure how this could be made into a movie. I know there is some controversy over the start of Facebook, but I doubt that will be included in a movie about it. - Trevor Manternach
"Try this. Select some text on a web page (with the Ubiquity extension installed). Right click that text and goto the "Ubiquity" menu. Is that what you are talking about?" - Trevor Manternach
">"I honor John McCain’s service to our country," Obama said. "We owe him our gratitude. But we do not owe him our vote. The stakes are too high." Full article here: http://www.billingsgazette.net..." - Trevor Manternach
I love that he is trying his hardest to put Montana into play. When this election started, I never imagined any of the candidates would come here, and this is his FIFTH trip! - Trevor Manternach
"Do you honestly think that we can talk Osama bin Laden into no longer pledging death to America? The fact is that there are scary individuals out there that need to be taken out." - Trevor Manternach

"He doesn't claim to be the "peace" candidate: "I don’t oppose all wars. And I know that in this crowd today, there is no shortage of patriots, or of patriotism. What I am opposed to is a dumb war."" - Trevor Manternach
