You really need to hit a home run with the story and other attributes to detract viewers from some of the production values. Take "Blair Witch" for example. It's one of my favorite films..yet it had horrible production values - it was filmed on Hi-8 - yet the story propelled. "I don't think Kent is trying to teach any lessons here. He is simply commenting in the last paragraph on the rough cut that he saw at the Fest and offering suggestions on ways he thinks the film might flow better. Suggestions are always welcome. If it means anything, it is hard to review a film that is still a Work In Progress and I think Kent put that paragraph in there as a sort of negoitation that the film might have some potential if edited. Personally, I wouldn't "review" a film that is a work in progress for the same fact that I wouldn't make a decision on my whether I dig a CD when it isn't mastered." - Andy Triefenbach
