My dog has had seizures since he was a puppy, but they've gotten worse over the past year. Today, the vet said he is at the age where he might not survive many more. :-(
Oh no! Are there any medications that act as anti-convulsants in dogs? I hope your vet is wrong. <3

He's a cutie pie. Wish there was more than could be done for him. xo

There's always the chance the vet is giving me the worst case scenario. Last year, he had a really bad seizure that lasted longer than the others and the vet ran some tests, thinking he might have to be put down, and everything turned out ok. So here's hoping she's wrong!

Ugh, Trish--that really stinks. :( I know how hard it is watching them go through those seizures too. :( Give that cute pup a big hug for me...

I feel bad now I called him an idiot for getting stuck in the shirt sleeve. Luckily dogs are very forgiving. :-)

Sorry to hear :( that and trust that the vet is wrong or he defies the odds so you two can love and enjoy each others company. :)

James, I hope so, too. The vet didn't say "the next seizure will be his last," but she said that he's going to have more and more trouble snapping out of them as quickly as he has in the past, until they eventually weaken him to the point where he can't snap back anymore. :-(

sorry to hear that. that's very sad news. hope things get better
