Works great. I use it to keep tabs on a few Tweeters who haven't done FFeed yet. Use it for Summize RSS on a couple terms too.

from twhirl
Works good for me. Mostly use it for my friends Status on Facebook
- Michelle Marie Miller
That's what I wanted to use it for, too, and some people in flickr who post great photos but don't use FF.
- Trish R
Yes indeed. The one thing to keep in mind is that only you can see stuff from an imaginary friend (just like in real life - ha!) so it's a great way to keep up on news and feeds from your friends or sources you aren't seeing in friendfeed. If you like or comment, though, only you will see those.. so they are more like fancy bookmarks for you to use.
- Phil Glockner
That was my other question, JPhil, on whether it appeared in the timeline or was only visible to me. Thanks.
- Trish R
That feature is actually what initially converted me from SocialThing to FriendFeed.
- Akiva Moskovitz
oh gosh.. all my other stuff is kept within imaginary friend. Thats the only way to track without polluting FF with all my noise
- Peter Dawson
I use it for RSS feeds from other sites.
- Outsanity
Oh yeah. I have one or two friends who just don't "get" FriendFeed, so I track them here. That said, I already subscribe to their blogs in Mail, so I don't really need it.
- Brent Newhall
Well I'm having a geekgasm over here now updating everything.
- Trish R
It did an odd thing, with one of my friends. I subscribed it to her Flickr feed, but it's pulling pics that OBVIOUSLY aren't her's.
- Bradley McSpinn
@Bradley - maybe they are photosh she faved? Just a guess.
- Yuvi
I thought of that too, Yuvi, but it said it's stuff she uploaded.

I have this vision of therapists getting a whole new round of ways to analyze people with this term.
- Trish R
I don't think anyone has done a post about how they use the Imaginary friend, thing. I keep starting and then stopping because I can't think of how to continue.
- Rahsheen ™
I have, works well. Come to think of it now, it sounds a little like John Nash. :P
- Parth Awasthi
I added several people this afternoon and tested the feature and I like it -- works well for what I wanted to do.
- Trish R
Yes, I've used it for twitter peeps that haven't yet migrated over to FF.
- Susan Beebe
I actually wrote my first blog post about using the imaginary friend feature as an RSS reader (http://friendfeed.com/e...) I really like the imaginary friend feature and use it all the time.
- Justin Korn
