RT @bRiAnOd0wD: If anyone is at home and bored and wants to help a brotha out, I could use your assistance cleaning my new house...for realz
RT @macwingnut: Considering blu-ray options. Do I go ps3 or stand alone? Oh tweetball in the sky what doeth you say...
@johnfbraun What all do you use the G5 for? I still use it as an iTunes, iPhoto, EyeTV, file, and backup server via @Crashplan +normal stuff
@johnfbraun Quake 4 plays awesome on mine. I have the top-of-the-line Nvidia 6800 Ultra video card in it that takes up 2 slots. Dual 19"s
@johnfbraun Ever thought about a G5 Jive kit to put 3 xtra HDD's n ur G5? I have 1 HD only 4 OSX/apps , other 4 are RAID 0 array for /users
@HuntHenning I tried that & the @1password icon still disappears every time I quit Safari on the PowerMac G5. I have to re add it on launch.
@johnfbraun No it's the MBP that's identical to yours and @davehamilton I've just never got around to getting the PCI to eSATA adapter.
@1Password @HuntHenning Yes, in the Safari toolbar. Permissions repair in 1password & Disk Utility off OSX DVD doesn't help. Running 3.0.1
@johnfbraun Which OWC enclosure did you get? I have a Mercury Elite Pro quad interface enclosure for 3.5" hard drives. Great hardware btw
@johnfbraun I haven't had a chance to use the eSATA port on the unit. All the PCI slots on my G5 are full & no PCI eSATA adapter for my MBP.
@1Password My 1password icon on my G5 running 10.5.8 keeps disappearing. I have to re add it every now & then. Is this normal for PPC Macs?
RT @1Password: Just too good not to retweet: "1password is so good that I consider people not using handicapped ;-)" (via @zoddel)
Does 122MB / sec data thruput on a 5 year old PowerMac desktop sound good to you? I'd like to get your input if you are a video / audio guru

It looks like I will be expanding my 1.5TB OSX home user account hard drive array to 2TB. It's already at 75% capacity with just user data
@MacSparky I agree about the movie "Elf." I bought that on DVD several years ago. I will probably watch it again this year too
Sync your files online and across computers with @Dropbox. 2GB account is free! https://www.dropbox.com/referra... 1 more friend invite & I will have 5GB.
RT @lukekarrys: ping + ssh + say in Mac terminal make for fun pranks on family members at Thanksgiving :) --(I've force quit their apps too)
@spsheridan Putting the turkey on the barbecue sounds like a great idea. Our family has never tried that one before.
My quest 4 finding an "easy" way 2 move a user's home account in OSX to a RAID 0 array w/out having permissions problems looks iffy. Ideas??

Nothing like getting work done around the house on a Saturday while listening to Louis Armstong vinyl records on the record player
@stuhelm Yes there is a way to make Time Machine not backup certain files & delete past backups of those files. That's all you can do though
