There are users that participate and still have private feeds, hasn't been any problems with that. Problem I have is when they subscribe to you then don't show any participation AND have private feeds. - Andrew Trinh

Those were some of my reasons. Being googled. Family & work stumbling on my stupid ass comments and activity. It's not much difference. I'm mostly and like'r and commenter anyway. My feed isn't all that. - Rodfather

Hey guys... As a person who just came out of a private feed, I can tell you that many people have them for many different reasons. Mine was related to work and privacy. If you don't want to sunscrie to them fine, but the backhand without knowing the reasons isn't appreciated. - Johnny Worthington

Well, FF is capable of being many things. It doesn't require the community to be useful. Also, some people may not really "get it". It's a relatively complicated service for noobs. - ·[▪_▪]·

I recently unprivated also since it must be annoying for people I initially subscribe to, not be able to see my activity. I may do it again for privacy concerns. Like sometimes I'll post pics of my nephew and I'm not totally comfortable everyone seeing those. - Rodfather

it's cool. Sorry if I came off harsh. Private is a feature FF is working on but right now it's an all or nothing deal. If it was a choice between Private or No FF, I'll take the hit that comes with private :) - Johnny Worthington

It isn't an elegant solution but how about 2 FF accounts. One public persona and one private persona that would allow only selected friends and family to see more personal information? I can truly respect privacy. Heck look at my name. :) - Keith - @tsudo

Well... It might be to hard to manage... And as for interaction, it comes down to your skill and personality. In the 2 1/2 months I was private, I still got over 90 subscriptions :) - Johnny Worthington
