Violet is suffering from twoyearoldness. How do you fix this?
I think you wait a year and it goes away on it's own. ;) - Dario Gomez
Or maybe two years. - Stephen Mack #TeamMomo from iPhone
Lots of candy. Also let her stay up as late as she wants. - Louis Gray
The ideas from the Twin Paradox might be useful here … http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki... - Amit Patel
I second Dario's comment. - Rachel Lea Fox from iPhone
Revel in it because they are much, much worse at 3. - Anika
It may go away on its own, but it will be back with a vengeance when she's a teen! :) - Anne Bouey
Identify the behavior you want to change, figure out a consequence you can follow through with (e.g. time out), explain it to Violet, and follow through. Repeat about 1400 times until she's 4 and then things are better. - Bruce Lewis
Be glad you're bigger than she is and "because I said so" still works. - m9m, Crone of FriendFeed
Bruce: yeah, it's the "repeat about 1400 times" part that's hard on me. m9m: it doesn't, she gets her way with cuteness :) - Tudor Bosman
Distraction and deflection still work at that age (though not quite as easy as at age one). Think Aikido and Jedi mind tricks. Don't turn everything into a battle, just point out a shiny, new, fun object/toy/food/idea/game etc. - Laura Norvig
Also, be silly and laugh a lot. - Laura Norvig
