I don't think the new dizis that you now see on atv, euro D, show, samanyolu, etc etc etc can compare to the great films made in the 60s, 70s and 80s! Just a shame they don't show them so much these days and all the Turkish Video shops in London are now all shut down! :'(

I don't know about Turkish films, but I'm that way about Bollywood. I prefer the stuff from the 'late '50s - '70s over most of the stuff coming out now that I've seen/heard.

I think it's because of his appearance, he is not typical Turkish looking. And all the girls, want to be blonde and blue eyed, so when they see a Turkish man who is naturally blonde with blue eyes, they all go crazy for him. :-/
