For The Werks, 2009 has been the most fruitful year since the local rock act formed in 2005. The groove-oriented rockers — Chris Houser (guitar, vocals), Rob Chafin (drums, vocals), Chuckie Love (bass, vocals) and Norman Dimitrouleas (keyboard, vocals) — released the excellent studio disc, "Synapse," in February.
