""One with a transsexual past." How does that work? I'm a transsexual woman and respect people's self-identities but don't really understand this. I mean, intersex people stay intersex even if they have surgery, right? Not saying that they should have surgery, just that they might. Well, anyway... I wonder when I'll get arrested since I'm in South Africa with a passport that says 'male'."

"Funny. I had some breast growth in the beginning, but then it went away, and I think it was at least in part because of the orchidectomy I had. I've been on hormones for almost 18 months, and had the orchi at 10 months. My sisters don't have too big breasts despite of fair amount of body fat, so I suppose it's got a lot to do with genetics. I'm not too fat myself. Otherwise, my body has changed quite a bit. I still have some muscle, but I've lost to a ciswoman in arm wrestling (she was a femme lesbian, hehe). My shoulders are disproportionately wide and my ribcage is somewhat big, but my waist-to-hip ratio is pretty good. I'm otherwise somewhat happy with my body, but I'd like breasts (and a vagina). They idea of foreign objects inside my body just freaks me out. Also, it's a question of money. My face needs work, too. I think my forehead is too masculine. We're never completely happy with ourselves, are we? We should fight against society's expectations and standards of 'beauty'...."

"XHTML 2 was a beautiful specification of philosophical purity that had absolutely no resemblance to the real world," said Bruce Lawson, HTML 5 evangelist for browser maker Opera. The W3C declared HTML finished with version 4.01 in 1999. The idea of incremental improvement to HTML was presented to the W3C and was rejected: http://news.cnet.com/8301-17...
"These damn "homosexual transsexuals" and "androgynephiliacs" fuck things up for the rest of us. I'm a woman, a transwoman, and I'm proud. I love my girlfriend, she just happens to be a woman and transsexual. I'd have my surgery if I could afford it, but even with a dick I'm more of a woman than these fuckers. Just my 2 cents. ;)"
