"The ratings are in and ABC's V was the highest rated series premier this season with a rating of 5.0, a 13 share which equals 13.9 million viewers. Of course this doesn't mean that many actually liked it and since we were pretty split here at Engadget HD, we wanted to know what you thought of this new Si-Fi show."

People are drawing comparisons to FlashForward for some reason (1 hr. drama? same network? cinematic?) but I think V > FlashForward. FF started out good, but I've lost interest.

I don't see the comparisons at all between V and Flash Forward. There are more similarities between LOST and Flash then V and LOST. But in both cases Flash Forward is the very clear loser; I've stopped watching it, and it takes a special kind of suck to make me stop watching Sci Fi.

Better than FlashForward? I have given up on FF due to the inane dialogue

The only comparison I see with LOST and V is they both star the same actress. I tried giving FF a chance, but it's not that great. I LOVE "V" though. :)
