I don't get you people. You all get on a twitter frenzy, then the site goes down again and you're all like "what do I do now?". Then it becomes a regular thing and you all abandon twitter completely. Then twitter announces major improvements and you all go back there and break it again. Meanwhile I keep doing what I've done since I signed up with friendfeed. Absorbing my google reader stream, sharing some of what I find there, some here, absorbing my friendfeed stream and occasionally commenting. I only remember twitter exists when it goes down or Stephen Fry talks about it. - Slappy Line

Don't worry Kol, I know where Ping.fm blasted my messages. It's now at 20+ services. I figure that most of them are truly underused, as people I know tend to gravitate to FF, FB, or Tw. btw: laconica is in the process of allowing better two way bridging. I can see my full twitter stream from brainbird - it's not as fully functional as if the people you're following are on an OMB compliant server, since the posts are not treated natively, but it can ease your transition. - exador23
