"To be honest I work my accounts hard when campaigning and back off when not. I will get into the conversation if promoting a campaign / product or servic. If I am not campaigning I tend to back out of the conversation. I wont let to much of my time be spent engaging in small talk on social media. I do monitor my accounts. I know when someone has spoken to me in real time through browser plug-ins. I do reply to people who approach me but unless its related to business I am working. It's a fine line. I see working in SM platforms for marketing purposes like working at a concert. You're surrounded by people there to have fun, kill time and be entertained. You're working though. You have a job to do. It makes it even trickier when your job is to convert these people into prospects for a product or service. You're not standing at a ticket booth selling tickets. You're in the crowed with punters networking. You have a job to do none the less and if you don't do it you won't feed the family."

"Not sure. You would think FB have plans to integrate the FF technology into their platform in which case you would be able to add FF accounts to FB accounts. Who knows other than the powers to be at FB?"

"Yes, more so in the past than now because e-mail lists that are not attached to a valued relationship are not worth anything anymore. A few years ago we would open anything that landed. Now days if we receive something that slightly resembles spam we all report it as spam for the mail servers to block sender."
