Ugh, neither. GW is a purchase and play forever kind of thing, DDO is monthly plan. GW you can't jump, and the graphics are a little dated. DDO has nicer graphics, but the game kinda blows.

Actually, DDO is Free to play, no monthly plan....(there are adventure packs to buy, but there's tons of content for free, and the adventure packs can be earned without paying by farming dungeons.)

Oh that's right, I forgot they moved it free. I could never get it installed on Windows7 so I just gave up. I played when it first came out when it was in closed beta and wasn't really impressed. Just seemed like another WoW clone only less solo play.

Indeed it is. You can kinda get around a few things.. buy subscription cards instead of using a credit card. Sometimes you can find deals for 60-day cards for discounts. If I had to choose between GW and DDO, i'd choose DDO. At least you can jump in DDO.

Re: D&DO, I've only been playing it for 2 weeks (and haven't been shirking other responsibilities, so probably only racked up around 3-6 hours total game play), but so far I'm digging the story line I'm currently in, have been playing solo, and have been having an all around good time.

I just don't know anyone on it, so it's more of an ORPG instead of MMORPG.

@Tina: So, what'd you think of that South Park episode about Harley riders?
Dave watched it last night on his computer and laughed the whole time, but then again he's not a Harley guy and to bikers there's a difference. He sat there wondering if he should forward it to his Harley riding friends or not...

I just thought it was the best. (My neighbor frequently wakes up my daughter from naps with his bike.)

Link please, I have to show a couple people who are t the dealership today.

Just watched this week's South Park episode. Apparently the word "FAG" no longer refers to homosexuals. It now refers to inconsiderate Harley drivers. I LOVE YOU SOUTH PARK.
