Finalmente KDE ha raggiunto un buon livello di maturità con la versione 4.3. Ho installato la beta di Kubuntu, ancora qualche problemino ma.. NIENTE MALE!! Finalmente supporta in modo nativo la mia netgear wn111v2. Continuo con i test...

On Ubuntu 64bit, I'm still getting a grey square instead of a flash video (or advertisement) sometimes. Often, closing and restarting Firefox will fix this. Still, it's a pain, so I wonder if anyone has been able to fix this?
I still get that occasionally as well. No answer that I know of. - J Wynia
Thanks for the replies, J Wynia and Kemal. I was hoping there was a real fix floating around somewhere that I didn't yet know about. What I understand from your reply, Kemal, is that I can better go with 32bit Firefox or Swiftfox? I stubbornly refused to take that step until now, because then why not go with the 32bit version of Ubuntu? Anyway, I'll look into it. :) - roel

Starting the upgrade to Kubuntu 8.04 from Ubuntu 7.10. Data backed up, fingers crossed.
Good luck, let us know how it turns out - Turker Keskinpala
I had to abort once because I was unsure of the partitioning. When I upgraded 7.04 to 7.10 it created a new partition and left the old one. Decided to leapfrog back to the saved 7.04 partition and leave the 7.10 in case I missed backing up something. - Dave Slusher from twhirl
I have my /home directory on a separate partition. With every new release I just do a reinstall on my root partition, and then 'aptitude install' my list of favorite apps that aren't installed by default. - roel
