MVC yapısının model katmanını oluşturmak için ZF’nin sunduğu ORM sınıfı Zend_Db_Table kullanmak diğer PHP ORM sınıflarından biraz daha kolaydır. Yapmanız gereken Zend_Db_Table sınıfından sınıflar türetmektir. Veritabanında “user” tablomuz olduğunu düşünelim. ZF’nin sunduğu MVC yapısının en önemli yapı taşlarından biri uygulamanın çalıştığı ortamlara göre ayarlarının tutulduğu config dosyasıdır. ZF MVC nin ön tanımlı dizin yapısı aşağıdaki gibidir. Kulandığımız uygulama çatıları (framework) uygulamanın gelişimini ve başarısını direk olarak etkiler. Gerek çalıştığım şirketlerde gerekse kişisel projelerimde farklı uygulama çatıları kullandım. Uzun bir süre sıkı PEAR kullanıcısydım. Türkiye PHP Grubu dahilinde PEAR sunumları yaptım. Zend Framework (ZF) kullanmaya başlayınca PEAR‘a olan ilgim kayboldu. PHP Güvenlik El Kitabı PHPSec.Org (PHP Security Consortium) tarafından hazırlanan PHP Security Guide ‘ın Türkçe çevirisidir. Askerdeyken boş vakitlerimde çeviri yapmıştım. Kod yazarken düşünmeden yaptığımız bazı alışkanlıklarımız vardır. El alışkanlığı olmuştur düşünmeden yaparız. Bir süredir ZF (Zend Framework) kullanıyorum. Faha önce farklı uygulama çatıları kullanmıştım.ZF kullandıklarım arasında en iyisi diyebilirim.
