"I have been using GNU/Linux on my Laptop(Compaq Presario B1200) for long time now. I have different distros running flawlessly for years. I have Arch,Gentoo,Fedora and Debian presently running. I had experience with openSUSE..but dump it for poor forum response. The "only" loss might be the battery power..which is a pain on the butt.Battery power is very bad ..hardly stays 20-25 min.But rest are absolutely no worry..believe me. One suggestion you don't have to run all those "netbook" kinda thing in your netbook..pls use the normal GNU/Linux OS and believe me it work flawlessly." - Bhaskar Chowdhury
