The question should be: How did Obama Bow resonate with those Japanses people who want our military bases in Japan closed. A nice respectful bow goes a long way to placating them. And maybe gets some cash and bodies for ASTAN Lot more in play here than most rightists willing to see but then they have a relatively black and white unthinking worldview... Simple really that might explain the morass left for the adults to clean up
