I'm voting for Obama, and I didn't watch SNL -- but I read a CNN article about the show and it really looked fine. McCain came on and made jokes -- they looked like funny jokes too. I don't know if there are professional ethics for a comedy show, but if there are, SNL's behavior certainly seemed within them. - Mitch Wagner

the writing was weak - this wasn't political satire, there was no insight in the humor, it was just a platform for some aw-shucks lines. Maybe the number of episodes they're writing (another one airs Monday) is effecting the quality, something that barely holds up past the Weekend Update segment anyway. But yes, basically, I don't think Cameos *like the one tonight* are doing anyone any favors at this point in the game. I don't know folks, I'm just not laughing. - Marko Bon
