"Climategate" exposed: Conservative media distort stolen emails in latest attack on global warming consensus | Media Matters for America - http://mediamatters.org/researc...
"Since the reported theft of emails from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia, conservative media figures have aggressively claimed that those emails undermine the overwhelming scientific consensus that human activities are causing climate change, dubbing the supposed scandal "Climategate." But these critics have largely rested their claims on outlandish distortions and misrepresentations of the contents of the stolen emails, greatly undermining their dubious smears."

PSSSSST. Your argument is stupid. It's hard to take you seriously.

Well, I can see his point. Media Matters posts up conservative lies, then the facts, with sources linked so readers can verify for themselves. Why would one take such stuff seriously? =)

Eric, it's specifically noted in MM that they're talking about tree ring data post-1960, but the email you quote seems to be talking about _any_ tree ring data, not a specific time-limited subset of same, so I don't know what you think you're disproving there.

And saying you've been "over" it with me is pretty accurate since IMO you have not gotten _into_ it at all; your analysis has been depressingly shallow, up to and including not reading what you pass along, such as mistaking older quoted messages for replies..

OK, I don't do this often, but I'm doing it here. Thread is now closed. Eric, if you want to go ten rounds with Andrew, do it in your own thread.
