"Any video emailed to you with the words "oh christ" as the only context with which to view it is worth a look. This did not disappoint. Via Andrew Sullivan, presenting the worst issue-ad I've seen in a long time. This is the worst thing telling me what's racist and what isn't since Crash."

"Lying liars are not only liars about what racists they are, but about what they're racist about, too. People suck. Or as I emailed back: for fuck's sake."
- Steven Perez
Ugh! Brought to you by the wonderful world of decontextualization. Unfortunately, this will be a successful piece of badvertizing. The right(eous) keep on spreading the misinformation and more and more people are believing it. As a people, Americans really are easy to fool :-(

I love how these knuckleheads freak the hell out over what 12% of those polled in a crappy Rassmussen poll think about them being racist. Defensive much?
- Steven Perez
Can we please get the producers of this ad a Philosophy 101 book where it describes what a logical fallacy is? Oh, wait, I'm sure they already know that and are trying to take advantage of the fact that most people don't want to think for themselves...
- Lindsay
A huge number of people in America are racist? But that's unpossible!
- Lo the Baker
I believe that 12% (probably a lot more) of Americans is racist, but that has nothing to do with either the health care plan or the president. But of course, people on either side of the fence will try to use it. This ad is actually a pretty "funny" result of that.
- Rene, Pro Button Pusher
Now that's not fair, Lindsay. Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter are two of my favorite philosophers. [/...FOR ME TO POOP ON} :D
- Steven Perez
This is just silly. By repeatedly calling themselves racist, they're just making me believe it. And then, when they acted as if most of America being racist was far fetched, I almost lost it. LOL!
- Rah-PM 2012
LOL! what a briliant idea! let's create an ad spot that makes people _proud_ to be called racists! the level of hyperbole and sarcasm in this spot will proly be lost on most of the targeted audience but, hey, who cares anyway. I guess _I'm_ a racist! Muhahahahaha!
- MikeAmundsen
People said of me that I am a racist. My response: but I hate everyone equally.

Rahsheen +++ The growing belief that racism no longer exist boggles my tiny little mind.
- Lo the Baker
I keep saying that the US has never been so segregated, but all I get are scoffs. The whole political correctness crap makes it look like there is no racism anymore, but all the underlying sentiments are still very much there.
