A reference to an interesting eye-tracking research made back in 1967 by A.L. Yarbus. As the article says, "We underestimate the effect our instructions have on where someone looks. Look at the picture at the beginning of this post. In research by Yarbus, people were shown this picture, and then given different instructions of what to think about while looking at the picture."
