RT @tallivansunder: New Blog Post: Gluten Free Diet: Feeling Better Yet? http://www.beinghealthy.tv/archive... (She's back!)
Giving another try to an author that I couldn't seem to understand the appeal of in the past.
Trying to get some writing done for some clients.
Twitter's blog uses blogger? Seriously? They surely could host their own by now. Even if they had to go cheap, blogger...from Google?
Too much time spent hacking on a wordpress theme. Think it's time for me to pare it back down & save a from scratch build for later.
RT @tallivansunder: Trying to get back to blogging & podcasting. Life has been really crazy the last few months. But I am expecting to have more time soon.
Just inadvertently discovered that I can use a two finger swipe in Safari to go back or forward a page. I'll be using that a lot now.
Attempted some door frame repair. Time will tell how successful it was. So far, it looks promising.
Searching through WP theme frameworks to build some sites around. Genesis & SuperSkeleton are 2 interesting ones I like so far.
Used ATM, self check out at Home Depot & iPhone self check out at Apple Store. Human interaction in 3 transactions: 0. The future is here.
In anticipation of FB Timeline, I just went through & cleaned up my FB. Timeline is a great idea if you want to drive people like me away.
RT @donttrythis: Publishing cartel lobbies congresswoman (with cash) to limit public's access to NIH funded research. http://www.michaeleisen.org/blog...
Getting back into the late night work schedule again. Aren't I supposed to be told old for this one day? Guess I haven't reached that yet.
I hate sites that chunk stories into multiple pages for page views. That's why I love Reader on Safari & the Readability extension for FF.
Not a fan of CES. It blows up my RSS feeds & little that is exceptionally cool turns up. Wish there was more there to get excited about.
Put up four new blinds today. Four more have to wait for another day. At my current rate I'll finish fixing up this house...one day. :)
Just found out that my wall calendar has today as the winter solstice when it actually happens tomorrow. So...something to look forward to!
Cranking through a ton of work as efficiently as possible after a 1 day setback. Nothing major, but w/kids those take longer to overcome.
Doing some editing form someone else and trying to pare back all the redundant phrases like "100% maximum efficiency."
Cranking through emails and trying to dig myself out of an email hole. I'm at least making a valiant attempt.
Microclimates are amazing. This one 1.25 mile stretch I drive always seems to mean a drop of 7 F.
Just finished preparing a massive pot of vegetable soup. Now to wait for it to cook. Should be 7-10 days of soup.
Just saw a Delorean on the road.
Amazon now has a feature that lets you share what you just purchased? That just sounds like a bad idea. For us to use, not for them to have.
Just deleted my @gowalla account. Wasn't using it much since they changed the focus & with @facebook buying them...I'm out.
Enjoying some wine @montereyaq member holiday event. Almost worth the membership by itself.
Really enjoyed the parade of lights today in Pacific Grove. It was a nice little event.
First set of rules routes some emails to specific folders for sorting. Second set will delete certain types of emails after a set date.
In an attempt to reduce the time I spend in email, I'm setting up rules to handle tasks I do in email everyday.
Just finished listening to the Steve Jobs biography. I definitely learned a few things. Wish it could have got a little more from Steve.
