"DestroyFlickr explores alternative methods for viewing and sharing Flickr content. Its user interface provides an environment that benefits photos rather than hindering them. With the ability to look at a photo on a dark, neutral background, you can view it without the interference of a brighter surrounding. By using workspaces and canvases, DestroyFlickr is able to retain a constant history of where you have navigated, offering the ability to revisit an area without the need to reload the entire page. DestroyFlickr takes advantage of features provided by the Adobe AIR SDK that are unavailable to web-based RIAs. With the support of both drag and drop uploading and downloading, posting and saving photos is done in one easy motion. Now you can download the highest resolution version of a photo without having to see it first—just drag a thumbnail to the download menu and the download begins."

This is simply the best Adobe AIR app I've used so far.

Am I missing something? How do I view my photos as a set or a collection?
- Mark Trapp
hmm, i'll have to try again. but flickr denied the app the first time I tried...
- Nick Takayama
I just keep getting: "Oops! The API key or signature is invalid."
- Nick Takayama
@Mark just log in and hit "photos". The interface isn't totally intuitive but once you figure it out its pretty cool. I also just had some problems logging in.
- Rafael Robayna
Rafael, that seems to be my photostream. Is there no way to view a specific set or collection of photos?
- Mark Trapp
ah. Found the problem. WebKit is buggy and failed to load the auth page. Sorry for the false alarm
- Nick Takayama
This is slick, and has a lot of potential.
- Dave Roth
Mark, no there doesn't seem to be a way to view sets.
- Rafael Robayna
ehhhh, I'm not very impressed. Feels clunky. Can't figure out how to see faves or comments on photos. Not intuitive at all. Piclens is far better.
- Thomas Hawk
I like the way it works for the most part. I agree that it would be nice to be able to see sets. I would also like to be able to make someone a contact from the interface, but I can't seem to figure that out either. It is a good start though and one that I will keep an eye on.

It would be cool if pinged you when your friends/contacts uploaded pictures with a teeny thumbnail at the bottom of the screen. Very very pretty.
