You know that scene at the beginning of Apocalypse Now with Martin Sheen in the hotel room? That's how I spent my day off in Mexico City.
The only seat at my gate is under a screen blaring Fox News. Opting to stand rather than absorb all that hate.
Unhappy to be leaving London, but excited to be going to Mexico City.

Tonight we took a clipper down the Thames to Greenwich for dinner with friends.
Tried to blend in with the tourists in Covent Garden, then took a spin in the London Eye at sunset.
Long, wonderful lunch with friends followed by a stroll along the canal in Islington.
In an exit row, ears filled with Four Tet, ready to go.
Heading to SFO, bound for London to meet up with Julie and Finn, who left a couple days ago. His passport is adorable, btw.
