MG, I did the manual download and held the shiftkey, itunes comes up, then nada : ( I suppose I could do it on the macbook, to install the firmware and then resynch w/Windows but that seemed like too much effort vs waiting!

d'oh. I feel SO stupid. I was holding down the shift key, but not when I was supposed to. Figured it out. Update in progress. shorted myself out of four extra hours by being a dope, but i suppose it could be worse!

I'm pretty sure my favorite app will be the Remote. But I have to wait until I get home to test it. I wish there were trial installs as I want to try out OmniFocus but don't want to shell out $20 and it turns out I don't like it.

Just read that the firmware I installed is beta - I hope that's true in a way. some weird resets/crashes, and most annoying itunes wants to make a lengthy backup every time i sync. http://weblog.infoworld.com/enterpr...
