What's amazing to me is the utter chaos in the streets. Trains, People, Cars, Horses, Buggies on rubber or wooden wheels all sharing the same cobblestone streets at the same time. People just cross at all times in random directions. There are no cross walks, no street lights, no stop signs, just survival of the fittest.

Having not heard Sarah Palin speak for a few months, my opinion of her had dulled a bit and I was finding the media frenzy about her new book kind of amusing. But I just happened to catch a clip of her Opera interview and I was rudely reminded what a nitwit she is. Ugh. Just go away Palin.

I have a friend who calls himself Muschi. He used to be a party promoter in Seattle and is responsible for some of the most consistently creative and bizarre events I've ever participated in. He randomly surfaces and contacts me about ideas for new and crazy events from time to time. He just contacted me today with an idea and I'm a little scared.

Stargate Universe - Finally getting good? Last night's episode, titled "TIME" was an interesting bit of actual Science Fiction. Both riveting and touching. It wasn't totally original, but it was executed brilliantly with a unique presentational twist.

I think that it's been a hit-and-miss for me so far. It feels too much like Battlestar Galactica for my taste. And while I realize it's not the theme of the series, I REALLY miss the aliens!!!!

ok i *finally* saw it. I'm glad to see that some aliens are introduced. Time travel was interesting. but it is still not grabbing my attention. #adhd Truth be told I am watching this series mainly because i LOVE SG-1 and Atlantis.... hopefully things will pick up soon!

Agreed, the cinematography is really excellent. I think the idea of the Kino is a great one. I love how they used it in this episode. And making the Kino's video look "aged" even when it's recording live.

They didn't say "To Be Continued" and the episode wasn't a "Part 1". So they may want us to assume that Matthew Scott's final message explaining the efficacy of the venom ended up saving them.

We are getting some super intense sheet lightning and thunder here. I thought we lost some transformers until the rumbles came 12 seconds later.

Transformers were blowing on West Queen Anne/Magnolia earlier in the evening. The sky was flashing all sorts of weird turquoise blues
