Umm... ok, iPhone apps are cool, but this title is pretty over-the-top.

How is it over-the-top? Is the kindle iphone app so vastly superior to the other ones mentioned in the article? (I wouldn't know, it's not available in Canada :\ )
- Jasmin Patry
Yes. The difference between reading on the iPhone screen vs. the Kindle is immense. Having done both, I'm shocked that someone could say that with a straight face. EDIT: OK, I'm a dumbass, this is not what the title says at all.

Kindle v. iPhone - I don't know who to route (root?) for when pretentious is fighting pretentious.

I don't think loving a piece of technology makes it automatically pretentious. Bit negative.

Books are so 2nd millennium anyway...

Not ducking my retribution Veronica, but I'm late for leaving work, sorry if I scratched too hard. I'll promise to take what ever knocks I get for it with grace when I get home late tonight.

I would like to say for the record.. I love my Kindle2!

Socom: cool I like to get one for my mom, she reads alot, but i just wondering how easy would it be for 71 year old to read? I never saw one in person.

Scrolling left to right and back while reading is one of the most tedious experiences on the planet.

I dont know for everyone, I find it very easy to read. Being able to change the font is easy as well. I think the hardest part for her would be the selecting of books and things.. as that uses the little menu thinkpad type button
