Hi my name is Vic and I am a 1st year under grad Biological Science student at the university of Leicester
#MyDiary its been a busy few weeks with uni and cheerleading at both football and rugby varsity (we won both go UOL!!) I'm enjoying our current two modules but doing the step test of a morning for the physiology lab was hard work! looking forward to the easter break and getting my teeth into some revision for the summer exams
#MyDiary Very happy to have passed my january modules. Have been working hard this week to get lots of work done as it keeps piling up! finding #BS1011 more challenging this term but being useless with computers hopefully it will help improve my excel skills. Really enjoyed #BS1005 lecture today but the lecturer moved very fast
#BS1011 - I am struggling with the most recent assignment as the excel boxes do not appear in the answer boxes, just a word document. I was unable to attend todays help session as it overlapped with my genetics practical, can anyone help?
#MyDiary Back to Uni and back to work!! first week is getting the hang of the new timetable more lie ins but later nights at uni, I enjoyed microbiology lecture and the Lab though think i need to work on my agar plate technique. I think once genetics moves further into the course it will become more interesting and tutorial 4 looks like fun!
I am struggling with my #BS1015 practical write up (especially the computer bit) i have looked at black board and my dry practical notes but still do not understand is there anywhere/anyone i could go to to get some help?
Not impressed that communication studies has had a lecture on plagiarism after we have written and cited our essays, it did not serve to help us only scare us, the university should make should that lecture from different modules as assignments coincide rather than giving us information too late!!
Rather stumped that i have to use transparencies for my oral and annoyed I have already done lots of work for a power point!!! i guess it will help me go over my work but not sure how to cite sources using this method of presentation though?
