I don't get the people who won't speak up with the correct name. It's MORE awkward after you've introduced to them as Peter to 87 people to have them say, "Actually, my name is Aaron." *judochop*.

I just posted this morning about someone who consistently calls me the wrong name, despite the fact that he has a bunch of correspondence with my correct name on it.

Oh, when people say my name wrong, I have no problem correcting it. But it sucks when they don't listen. "Here is 'Ann-ick-a'. "Hi, I'm "A-knee-kah', glad to meet you." "So, "Ann-ick-a here..." And I tend to start fuming because if they didn't pick up on that small cue, it's a sure sign they won't pay attention to anything anyone says.
