Not news, but given currency parity it does make one especially sore. One thing I do wonder about the price comparisons in this is are they street to street (where the U.S. has more competition and deep discounters) or just a comparison of RRPs.

DC Digital: More Day & Date Comics, Android App to Come [NYCC] - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews - http://www.comicsalliance.com/2010...
Definitely a mixed bag. Good to hear about the android plans, really don't like exclusives for e-retailers and don't care for/about a handful more of day/date releases. I'd be much happier with DC releasing everything on a slight delay but at $2 or less.

And Jesus is it terrible in terms of interface and video quality. Seven has produced the laziest pos I could imagine. The interface is not optimized for the platform at all. And the video quality is worse than even the ABC iView stream. And Sony Australia should be embarrassed they let this on.

Nice concept video. I've long thought we'd see phones plugged into docks at home that attached them to monitors, keyboards and network storage.

Nice to see, though sadly it currently on supports local files. Unlike airvideo and the desktop version of VLC. hopefully they will around to this as time goes by.

I really hope they have/will pickup some of the metadata features that XBMC has added recently. I'd buy one then, assuming the Google TV box isn't available this year.
