Thanks for pointing out Freedom, what a great app. I'm planning on telling participants of our 'soul tech' workshop (http://www.sparknw.com) about that one. I also find these two very helpful. 1. For focused writing, no screen clutter, (http://hogbaysoftware.com/product...) WriteRoom. 2. For reminders to rest my eyes, stretch my body, take a break, and use the most powerful tools --my brain/imagination --I use (http://www.dejal.com) Time Out, by Dejal. Cheers, Leif

You may consider building a wiki on netiquette. Limited to just 140 characters, Twitter has forced me to uncover my main idea or point.

PS SU etiquette - actually write something besides 'good post.' Use tags. Personally I like to mention the author's name if I remember.

I think that people have very different standards when it comes to some tools (e.g. e-mail, in particular). For example, I really don't mind getting a follow-up saying that I got an e-mail -- but maybe I'm not getting enough e-mail for it to be bothersome. Also, I usually reply to e-mail immediately if I can, and if I haven't replied within 24 hours, it usually means something is slightly amiss. 100% agreed about linking to people you blog about. It bugs me when people do it and don't link. WP plugin?
