"The computer industry is the only industry that is more fashion-driven than women's fashion. Maybe I'm an idiot, but I have no idea what anyone is talking about. What is it? It's complete gibberish. It's insane. When is this idiocy going to stop?" - Vishal M via Bookmarklet

""And how does one keep looking that good when one is that busy?," Rehman asked, drawing friendly laughter from the room when she complimented Palin. "Oh, thank you," Palin said. Pakistan's recently-elected president, Asif Ali Zardari, entered the room seconds later. Palin rose to shake his hand, saying she was “honored” to meet him. Zardari then called her "gorgeous" and said: "Now I know why the whole of America is crazy about you." "You are so nice," Palin said, smiling. "Thank you." A handler from Zardari's entourage then told the two politicians to keep shaking hands for the cameras. "If he's insisting, I might hug," Zardari said. Palin smiled politely." - Vishal M via Bookmarklet

“Feature Request: don't let people I'm not subscribed to count as a bump on the main feed or for the purposes of "Hide anything without likes and comments."”
September 24 at 6:17 am - Link
Short of blocking a person, it's incredibly difficult to have them exert no influence in what gets put into your main feed, especially if they share a lot of the same subscriptions as you. - Mark Trapp
I think a 'Mute' function for each item would serve better though. - Vishal M
Vishal: the problem I have is that while I can just hide the stuff the person bumps out of hide, it requires an action by me to get rid of it. I'd rather it behave in a manner where it honors the rules I already specified in addition to only considering people I'm subscribed to for the purposes of evaluating those rules. Maybe there'd be another option: Hide everything like this entry unless it has likes or comments from people I'm subscribed to. That way it can be set globally and I don't have to manually evaluate and act upon the 50 recently played tracks that just appeared on my feed because someone I'm not even subscribed to decided to like them. - Mark Trapp

"The website www.offbeatguide.com asks you five basic questions. Your name, the dates of your travel, your city where you live in, your destination city, and if you know, the hotel or friend’s place where you are staying at. It then proceeds to collate date from various resources on the Net, most notably, Wikipedia, WikiTravel, EventFul, Upcoming.org, Flickr and Google Maps." - Vishal M via Bookmarklet

One, someone else does the searching for you, saving you time and two, all the information is neatly packaged into a small book making it easy for you to carry along. You can either choose to have the PDF version for about Rs 400 and read it off your laptop or choose to buy the printed book for about Rs 1,000." - Vishal M
