A friend was out walking on Radical Rd on Arthurs' Seat on a wet/windy day. Place deserted but coming towards her was a man in a long cape
OK, @5pm / @Tidalfire - a true story...
As they passed, he touched the brim of his hat and smiled a greeting. A few paces later, my friend turned round to watch him go ...
But he had disappeared... A ghost or someone caught out of time who was as surprised as my friend to see someone in a strange get-up?
As they closed, she saw he seemed to be in old-fashioned garb (think Sherlock Holmes) and was staring at her quizzically as was she at him.
@5pm Difficult to tell a good ghost story in 140 characters ;) But what a cracking idea for a Twitter competition!
Scotland has lots of spooky legends but has anyone actually seen a ghost here? Just been told a cracking tale about Arthur's Seat...
