Anyone have advice for cleaning the Windows Registry with CCleaner? Anything I should have it ignore?

you may want to try ubuntu, and use that to clean your computer, you wont ever have to worrie about things like that again

The Linux route has been considered, but isn't really an option at the moment. :-)
