Note that I totally bagged on Gmail themes when they released. But those weren't making any statement except for "we're scraping the bottom of the bucket when it comes to improving email". The helvetica theme for FF says something about where news comes from (Helvetica is/was a common news heads font.) - Wade Dorrell
