The problem for Facebooks future is monetizing all those eyeballs is impossible. When I'm on FB, I'm posting pics and making annoying comments not buying. When I buy I use Google or go straight to the store site. Serve up all the "targeted" ad from all that lovely data, I'm still not buying on FB. #fail
Yes. But we aren't their target market. It's very easy to look at Facebook with all the scepticism and knowledge of 10+ years of web use. Most users of Facebook are new-ish to the Internet, and like AOL, Facebook is the first place they go

True Johnny BUT you add the 'experienced' folks my age who won't buy online to the new net FBers who are solely into LOLcats to jaded hipsters looking for the next coolest thing and you have what left to monetize? People who can already find Amazon and Ebay by themselves.....
