OK, forget everything. Willie is singing Pancho and Lefty. Stunning folk country masterpiece. Timeless brilliance. One of the best. Merle should come in soon.
Rob my computer says "restore in progress". i don't remember if i asked my computer to restore anything. hmm, maybe it needs some water... like a plant, a happy computer plant thing.
Ahh, the joy of bits, bytes, and .zip files. The long awaited migration from MasterWriter V1 to V2, using the mega top secret link from tech support. Maybe it will actually work.
A little Nashville Victory. "Another Whiskey Morning", a song I cowrote with my good friend Steven Strobel, has won the Grand Prize in the Music City Song Contest. Thanks for the cowrite, Steven--and props to vocalist Matt Dame and studio whiz Dave Brainerd.
"Great post, Paul. Those are three terrific questions to ask in evaluating decisions. I am working on a similar list myself. So many of us forge ahead without these considerations. Some of them make out okay, and some are thinned out of the herd. :) Consideration of loved ones--there's something high on the list. Honoring those you might have an impact on would help. Lord willing you're with the people who would stand behind your decisions (after a reasonable proposal). I remember the whole lottery discussion in statistics class, yes quite an expected value there--but you've got to be in it to win it. Of course, no guarantees. Be adventurous, be sensible, and above all, be real. If you really want to."
