INDIA HOTEL CALL: "Ma'am, this is housekeeping. We have your coconut in the lobby."
Listening to Kenny Loggins under a thatch roof and waiting for French food in Pondicherry (last French colony in India)....
If anyone asks, i burned my forearm saving a kitten from a fire, not from superheated "oats meal" steam at an Indian breakfast buffet.
At the post-ceremony reception. Apparently the tradition of embarrassing public speeches is worldwide.

After considerable Sanskrit, bowing, walking in a circle around a fire, and necklaces of flowers and gold, Gaurav & Sandhya are married!
@jheitzeb heh-- been frantically taking pictures!
First attempt to dissuade te groom from leaving- bride's father washing his feet. 2nd attempt, showing him the bride! Seems it's working.
@MarinaMartin it's quite entertaining. Unlike western ceremonies, people chat, mill around... kinda like a party w/ the TV on...
At this point in the ceremony, the groom pretends to leave, announcing that he's leaving to be a hermit. Bride's family tries to stop him.

Eating south Indian breakfast in a temple (served on a banana leaf)
Going shopping for a kurta (a man-dress that you wear over pants in India). The groom will ride in on a white horse tonite!
Drums, dancing, and henna in Chennai... "mellow" evening before the big wedding tomorrow!

Udaipur (in India) made a cameo in the cinematic masterpiece known as Octopussy. Consequently, many places show the it EVERY NIGHT.

My wife reports that the bathrooms on this train (Agra to Delhi) are quite literally, holes in the bottom of the train.
On a rooftop cafe in Agra. A man is aiming a slingshot at us (or, hopefully, the monkey on the roof between us).
Indian teens are constantly taking our picture- either they ask or they get sneaky with cell phones.
Absolute insane randomness: bumped into someone i know in the Agra Temple in India (James, founder of Heroku)!
Woke up at 5am to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The power is out. Flashlight apparently on the Droid saves the day!
Just barely made our train out of Delhi. India is pure and awesome chaos!
@balaji_dutt wedding in Chennai, Agra, Udaipur, Jaisalmer..
@Buzzmodo Pure fun-- friends wedding + exploring. No biz at all. The computer stays home (the Droid comes with!)
