You are currently using: Gmail 0.3 GB of 7.93 GB || Picasa Web Albums 0.07 GB of 1 GB || I've never been in the position of having more than 8 GB of email where I couldn't just back up the oldest of the lot to a burned CD or DVD.

depends on your storage needs -- i send a bunch of emails with large files and always had to delete old emails

You may export older emails under another Gmail account, so to get more free space. Recently Gmail have released a function to do this. After this, you can manage completely the two accounts with solution like Nektra, without logging out/logging in each time

Carlos, the key is filtering with keywords when backing up email.
