Google Calendar, actually. To create a "task", first create a calendar called "Tasks" (or whatever). Then create an event on the calendar with start and end dates corresponding to when you want to start the task and when you want it done. Check "All day" so that the task appears on the top of your calendar. The advantage of this is that you're not bothered/distracted by tasks that occur in the future, and you can see at any time how much longer you have to get something done ... - LANjackal

An older version of 3M Post-it digital notes. I love the memo boards for organizing and the alarm manager makes sure I never forget anything important. http://www.3m.com/us... For normal lists, especially if they are to be printed or recycled, my own small simple lightweight portable ToDo List application. http://appsapps.info/todolis... - April Russo (app103)
still in search of the ideal one, however, after having tried many I have honed in on Hiveminder and Taskwriter on the web and my trusty notebook and Outlook Tasks at office- the problem trying is to integrate them - viki saigal
Google Task standalone version. Got a sneak peak and I was sold. - Jorg Jansen
I love Tudumo, but am looking, really, for a cloud solution. I've committed to Toodledo, because of the iPhone sync. - robwest
Remember the Milk + Evernote + Jott (and their respective iPhone apps, except RTM for which I use Todo). The flexibility of RTM is amazing especially when used with good smart lists. Evernote is great for clippings and things that require more than a one line to-do. Jott is great for when thoughts pop in your head but you can't write them down - mostly when driving. - Mark Foundos
I need to learn how to use RTM much better ASAP. I paid and it is just sitting there on my phone. Gonna link with twitter to start with. - Amani
